Fire Risk Assessment
The Law and Reducing Your Liability
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and in Scotland The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005, places the responsibility of fire safety firmly onto the shoulders of the Business Employer, Manager or Owner ("Responsible Person") and stipulates that it is a legal requirement for the majority of UK businesses to undertake a fire risk assessment, which will identify any fire hazards, people at risk and actions to be taken.
It is the Responsible Person's duty to ensure the fire risk assessment is carried out by someone who has had sufficient training and has good experience or knowledge of fire safety ("Competent Person").
Understanding your legal obligation can prove difficult, so by delegating your legal requirement to Nu-Swift, you let us take the heat out of the legislation for you. Therefore, reduce your liability to give you total peace of mind and the ultimate in hassle-free fire protection.
